Welcome to the 4th edition of the IFM Young Researchers Day!
This event is aimed at Master 2 and PhD students as well as postdocs who want to share their work and learn more about opportunities to continue their careers post-PhD. The event will include poster sessions for students and postdocs, as well as talks from two keynote speakers who recently started their own research teams, or are in the process of doing so. There will also be two round table discussions with young professionals who recently finished their doctoral studies and now work either as post-doctoral fellows or outside of academia in a variety of fields – scientific writing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, life sciences consulting, etc. The goal is really to expose PhD students to the wide scope of career options available to them, and to learn a bit more about different types of positions. We hope that this event, while short and sweet, will help students to shed a bit more light on their futures and understand both themselves, and the scientific world, better!
